We, people from every corner of the earth, urge you to go to Standing Rock and protect this sacred place for generations to come, by directing the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to stop the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline once and for all. The pipeline will cause serious harm to sacred indigenous lands and water, risks an oil spill, and is counter to your commitment to stopping climate change.

Right now the water protectors of Standing Rock are camped in the snow -- peacefully facing down guns, attack dogs and the full force of the US government. 

They have one simple demand: Don’t run a pipeline across sacred land and water. 

President Obama has the power to deny the necessary permit, and stop the pipeline. America’s shameful, criminal mistreatment of native people needs to end now. No more broken promises, no more police brutality, no more desecration of sacred sites.
