No more child deaths, help the Rohingya!

To members of the UN Human Rights Council and leaders in Organisation of Islamic Cooperation:

As citizens from across the world horrified at the violence facing the Rohingya people, we call on you to urgently and publicly support a resolution at the UN human rights council calling for a Commission of Inquiry to fully assess the totality of the situation in the Rakhine State of Burma. We urge you to do all you can to push for full humanitarian access to help those most in need.

No more child deaths, help the Rohingya!
“They beat and killed my husband with a knife. They went into my house. Five of them took off my clothes and raped me. My eight-month- old son was crying of hunger when they were in my house because he wanted to breastfeed, so to silence him they killed him too with a knife. I thought I would die, but I survived.”

The above is the heartbreaking account of a Rohingya refugee who just fled terror in Burma.

And there are thousands more like her.

The army is raping and killing children and women with impunity. We cannot turn a blind eye. The Rohingyas have been called the most friendless people in the world. If we lend them a hand by raising an outcry from all corners of the globe, we can ensure a full independent investigation into the atrocities and prevent them from continuing.
