To all leaders of the G20:
As concerned citizens worldwide, we call on you to scale back and ultimately eliminate the subsidies that contribute to overfishing -- and support the creation of international mechanisms to support sustainable fishing. The future of our seas is being determined now: show real leadership, and protect struggling marine ecosystems for future generations!

The appetites of the industrial fishing industry are wiping out fish faster than they can reproduce, and shockingly, companies worldwide get billions in tay-payer subsidies to overfish. Scientists say we barely have 20 years until the ocean's fish populations collapse.
But industry won't give up their corporate welfare easily -- so we have a plan at the upcoming G20 to end these ocean killing subsidies for good: we'll work with host country Argentina to be a champion, and push the UK, a fishing powerhouse, to get behind a sustainable, winnable goal at the meeting!
Now we need to show all our governments we won't stand by while our oceans turn into deserts. Sign now and tell your friends and family ... especially if they love seafood!
