UPS: Save Africa’s Lions

To UPS:

As concerned citizens deeply disturbed by the decline of Africa’s lion populations, we urge you to act swiftly to do what you can to protect our last lions. We call on you to enact a complete ban on the transport of hunting trophies, including lions. You are in a prime position to save Africa’s lions and should not be transporting their bloody spoils.

UPS: Save Africa’s Lions
Cecil the magnificent lion was shot dead by trophy hunters two years ago. Now, his son -- a father to seven lion cubs -- has faced the same fate. It’s horrific, but we can pull the plug on this carnage.

Cecil's son Xanda was brutally killed by hunters in Zimbabwe -- but all over Africa, lion populations are being decimated. In the past twenty years, numbers have halved. It’s got so bad, some airlines have banned the carriage of lion trophies. But wealthy tourists are turning to shipping companies to bring their bloody spoils home.

Let’s tell the world's largest package delivery company, UPS, to stop enabling this deadly trade. As a global brand, they’re sensitive to public pressure -- so if we all sign and share we can make this an issue shippers can’t ignore. Sign and protect Africa's last lions.
