ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation
We the people of South Africa
do not believe that the intended nuclear transaction is legitimate.

We recognize that the transaction is being made by a small number of politicians and vested business interests, acting secretively and without legitimate grounds, and who do not have a mandate from the people to formalise this transaction.

We recognise that this expensive and unnecessary technology will place immeasurable financial hardship on current and future South Africans. We cannot afford it, financially or environmentally.

We recognize that this dangerous technology will expose South Africans to the immeasurable risk of catastrophic damage in case of accidents, and to the immeasurable costs of managing the dangerous waste for generations to come.

Do not expect us to honour or co‐operate with this transaction once your facilitators are no longer in power.

This is going to be one of the worst business decisions you have ever made.

Yours Sincerely
South Africa
