Bail was denied. Thank you everyone for assisting you are all so loved and appreciated.
On the 2nd of May 2018, a family stood in shock, anger and total disbelief at the news that their son, brother and baby of the family had been kidnapped. Eden Laird was 13 months old when he was taken from his home and a ransom demanded.
For 3 entire days, something so tragic unfolded before our eyes. A mother sat crying, begging, praying, hoping! A father searching, questioning, protecting, and brothers sat unsure, broken, confused. A community rallied and supported a family through a really difficult time and now we stand together to ensure these incidents dont happen again.
We stand for the families who went through this pain, we stand for the families who are still stuck to the phone waiting for the call to hear their babies are found, for the families who still need answers, the families who planned their child's funeral. We stand for the children out there, we stand together for a safer and better community. A community who wants justice.
We are asking everyone to assist us with this petition. Eden was found 3 days later by amazing individuals who stood together.
5 people are in custody for the kidnapping of Eden, 2 of which are applying for bail. The formal bail application will be heard on the 21st of May 2019 at the Palm Ridge Court. We are asking for people to join our petition to send out the message that we are against the application.
NO BAIL FOR THE ACCUSED!
