Stop Plastic Pollution! UN Environment Assembly 28 February - 2 March

My name is Layale, I am 9 years old, and I am very passionate about how to protect the planet. Since I am little, I am so sad that turtles die after eating plastic thinking it is jelly fish.
There is a lot of pollution in our world and particularly plastic.
I have written a letter to the governments at the United Nations to share my opinions about this subject but I need your help! In only 2 days, we collected 158 signatures in my school in Geneva, La Decouverte.
The more names I can get for my petition, the stronger my letter will be and hopefully we will be heard. States will meet for the UN Environment Assembly on 28 February - 2 March in Nairobi and online to discuss possible solutions and hopefully agree to start negotiating a treaty to address ‘plastic pollution’.
We have to act NOW to help our environment, our animals and our planet to ‘not live in a totally plastic world’.
