Presidents & Prime Ministers of countries of the UN, ASEAN, G7, G20, G77 EU, AU,
We, concerned people of the Global community call upon: all activists, youth leaders, advocates, Civil Society Organisations CSOs, Non-Governmental Organisations NGOs, Communities and supporters within the Myanmar Diaspora, to unite together and strongly appeal to the Presidents and Prime Ministers of Member Countries of the United Nations, ASEAN, G7, G20, G77, the African Union AU, the European Union EU, — to VOTE at the 75th UNGA meeting in New York on 14th September 2021 in favour of recognising the National Unity Government (NUG), which promises inclusiveness of all ethnics groups in fulfilling federal democracy and equality values, as the only legitimate Government of Myanmar, and to represent Myanmar at the United Nations.

We, concerned people of the Global community, stand in solidarity with all the ordinary people of Myanmar. We are opposed to the brutal Burmese military regime (The Tatmadaw, the Myanmar Military, led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing) which forcefully removed the democratically elected civilian government elected by the people of Myanmar.

We, concerned people of the Global community, strongly condemn the ongoing violence and crimes against humanity being conducted by the Military junta including grotesque violence; the murder of innocent civilians; ethnic cleansing; the brutal crackdown of peaceful demonstrators; torture; the detaining of political prisoners; attacks on medical frontline workers trying to provide essential health services amidst the COVID-19 pandemic; bombing of villages and townships resulting in large numbers of Internally displaced populations. In particular, much of this violence is directed towards the Civil Disobedience Movement CDM, which seeks to have reinstated the democratically elected government

We, concerned people of the Global community, urge our own governments to support and stand in partnership with the Myanmar people with their quest for the election result of the democratic November 2020 election to be upheld, and to not legitimise the State Administrative Council (SAC), the executive governing body of the Military Junta; and to hold the SAC accountable for the crimes against Humanity listed above that they have and continue to commit.

We, concerned people of the Global community, demand all conglomerates everywhere including from China, Russia and Belarus to stop immediately supplying the Myanmar Military with any arms. We demand a complete embargo to any arms sales.

We, concerned people of the Global community, demand that humanitarian aid to all communities living in Myanmar be made available immediately without any political and social barriers to access. In particular that rapid and efficient access be given for Covid-19 Vaccines, diagnostics and treatment that is being funded by Multilateral and Bilateral Donors. Such Aid must never be used as a weapon by denying access by the people.
