TO THE PRESIDENT AND TO THE GOVERNMENT OF MOZAMBIQUE

ELEPHANT
Africa’s most iconic species is being slaughtered before us, by the hundreds. Not because of man-animal conflict or because of environmental management reasons, but to satisfy a number of serious mentally challenged individuals with self-confidence disorders who eccentrically believe they’d in-print the elephant’s greatness and power if they possess a piece of it in the form of jewelry, ornaments. Mozambique has lost all its rhinos and it will very soon lose all its elephants and many other species if we don’t join forces and work together to end these poaching attacks,. We want absolute commitment and effective implementation of the new Biodiversity Conservation Law as well as the Money Laundering Law, thereby assisting the organs of administration and justice in the investigation of organized crime networks, including poachers, smugglers, accomplices, and concealers other people involved, especially before the crimes and other offenses are committed. Wildlife is not only a World’s heritage, it is also part of Mozambique’s DNA, and as such, it has to be assumed as part of national sovereignty. Prohibit the illegal trade in wildlife derivatives such as ivory, rhino horn, lion or leopard skins, tortoise shell, dugongs, sharks and many others, as well as illegal trade of live endangered species. Promoting the disclosure of these documents by creating secure communication mechanisms for those who denounce and the establishment of appropriate incentives.
Help us STOP wildlife CRIME – it’s DEAD serious.
