Despite laws barring this barbaric practice, bear bile farms continue to thrive across east Asia. We urge you to aggressively work to close these torture farms, invest in the promotion of herbal and synthetic alternatives to bear bile, and take strong steps to safeguard the remaining wild bears living across east Asia’s forests.

Trapped, held in tiny “crush cages," and jammed with rusty tubes to drain their gall bladder for years, endangered moon bears across east Asia are "harvested" for bile that's sold by quack medicine men.

The torture is so bad, some bears in China have been observed starving themselves to death to escape the pain, and it’s also driving the bears to extinction across the region.

But right now now we have a real shot at busting up the bear bile farms. South Korea just announced the moon bear as one of its “adorable” mascots at the next Winter Olympics they're hosting -- and the government is super sensitive about its international image!

When we get to a million voices strong we’ll put adverts in major inflight magazines across South Korea and east Asia, calling for the end of this bear torture for good!
