Michael Gove, Secretary of State for the Environment
We are asking The Environment Secretary to create a legislation for all buildings to be created with green roofs, and for all rail and tram lines to be embedded with grass. We have been campaigning for this for twelve years now, as the idea is a simple one: To replace the green space taken in order to build the house, factory, office etc., onto the roof of the building, and to embed rail and tram lines in grass. This will encourage wildlife, absorb excessive CO2, which is aggravating Climate Change, absorb excessive rain and insulate the building. What is not to like?
