We the undersigned support the request of a hearing of the Subcommittee on International Human Rights of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development concerning the curtailment of civil and basic human rights as well as total disrespect of law and due judicial process in Egypt.

We want the Canadian Government to be fully informed of this alarming situation and consequently to adjust its policy towards Egyptian authorities
