Childrens Aid Society, Child Protection Services : stop taking children from good parents. place abused children in safe homes

I believe this is a very important situation; it has been ongoing for many many years. The childrens aid society has become very corrupt. They are pretty much walking into families homes and soon as they find one minor thing/issue wrong, they rip the family apart by apprehending their child(ren). This is very wrong and definitely far from right and fair. The Society says they are there for the childs best interest and values. But I find that far from right. When a child does not need to be apprehended and their pulled away from his/her mom/dad, the society is causing major issues for that child(ren). The most important underlying issue being caused by the society to the child(ren) is emotional abuse. The child starts to think its his/her fault why they’re in care. Or they will end up becoming depressed & they will revert backwards with their mentality. I believe they are doing more harm to a child from removing that child from their home, when there's been neither neglect nor abuse. The society says they’re there to help families stay together, and to help families with programs and any 3rd party agencies to help families with any issues they may have within their family home, but I have witnessed the total opposite from that. I am a victim of C.A.S. My children have been in their care for 3 yrs now. My daughters are 4 yrs of age, and 10 yrs of age, she will be 11 in May. My daughters are going through A LOT right now. They are both now going through depression. My 4 year old was a happy go lucky child, now every time I see her, she's always upset or in a bad mood. That is not who she is or ever was when she was in my care. She was 15 months when they apprehended her. She has become very abusive towards her older sister, and she doesn't listen to anyone at all anymore. She has extreme temper tantrums, where shes smashing her head off anything and everything, including concrete cement. My other daughter whom is 10 and 8 months old, was 11 days shy of turning 8 yrs. old when she was apprehended. The society apprehended her from school at lunch time, and did not notify me until 3pm when I was on my way to pick her up with my baby, which is when they apprehended her. My 10 yr. old had excellent grades in school. Now she is on the verge of failing grade 5. She doesn't do her homework because no one helps her with it at the foster home she is in. I have NEVER EVER raised a hand to my children; they have always been fed their 3 square meals a day, with snacks in between. They were always fully clothed with the appropriate attire of clothing for everyday of every season. My oldest daughter barely ever missed a day of school; as well with she attended after school programs put on through the YMCA. I have noticed that the society is backwards and corrupt. They are apprehending children from families whom they do not need to be apprehended from, and they are leaving children in homes where they are being abused, physically, emotionally, mentally, verbally and environmentally. As well with being neglected, and sexual abused. No one is standing up to these people (CAS) Everyone I have talked to, is too scared to stand up for their rights, because their scared that they will end up losing their child forever, I was one of those people. I used to say CAS is like God, as in the power that they hold in their hands is to grateful & it’s beyond anyone else's power. They have more power than the police & the government, and it has now become ridiculous with the amount of power that they have. I was scared if I stood up to these people that they will say I'm an aggressive person and end up adopting my children out to someone else. But now I've had enough, and the world needs to see what is going on behind the walls of CAS. I now call Childrens Aid Society, Child Abduction Services. They are ruining families all across the country and world. Everyone needs to look into this situation and help to inform ALL PARENTS ACROSS THE WORLD OF THIS STANDING ISSUE. Children, whom have been in their system or are in their system, end up becoming mentally ill. 10 years ago, I believed in the society. I was on the positive side of the fence about who they are and what they do. Now for the past 4 years I have been on the other side of the fence. I have witnessed cases where a mother has beaten their child, doesn't send child to school while child has bruises, she calls the school and says her child is sick. CAS was called and they investigated, the mother fully B.S’d her way out of the situation, the CAS worker did not even bother opening a file on that family. At the time her child was 6 yrs. of age, now that child is 32 yrs. of age and treats her child the same way she was treated. Except its more extreme, she burns her son with cigarettes when he misbehaves. Unfortunately that child has passed away due to her abuse. He was only 3 yrs. of age. The autopsy showed he had force blows causing trauma to his brain, 6 broken ribs and broken blood vessels in both eyes. CAS was involved with this mother but never once apprehended the child from her. She was charged with neglect & abuse causing first degree murder. She is still going to court for this, but for some reason is sitting at home not in a jail cell, which is horribly wrong.

So please help me to spread the knowledge of CAS. Protect our rights and our children. Help to keep good families and parents with their children, to stay together.

PLEASE OPEN UP YOUR HEART AND SIGN THIS PETITION TO HAVE CAS INVESTIGATED ON, AND TO HAVE ALL CHILDREN WHOM WERE APPREHENDED FROM AN UPSTANDING EXCELLENT MOTHER/FATHER RETURNED BACK TO THEIR CUSTODY. TO HAVE THE CHILDREN WHOM ARE BEING ABUSED & NEGLECTED DAILY, PLACED INTO A SAFER HOME.
PLEASE EVERYONE SHARE YOUR STORY, HELP EVERYONE, PARENTS & NON PARENTS TO UNDERSTAND THIS ISSUE. LETS ALL STAND TOGETHER UNITED AS ONE.

HOPEFULLY AS WE ALL COME TOGETHER THE OMBUDSMAN WILL INVESTIGATE ON THIS SITUATION.
Which will hopefully take MAJOR steps to help change the way CAS now operates their agency.

MAKE COMPLAINTS.
Complain to the Ministry Of Youth & Children Services. Contact your local MP, MPP, Mayor, let them know about this issue, and your issue (if applicable).
HELP BRING THE LIGHT TO EVERYONES EYES ON HOW IMPORTANT THIS IS.
How important it is to all of our children’s safety and needs.
MAKE COMPLAINTS TO YOUR WORKERS SUPERVISOR,
If that does not do anything(because in some cases, mostly all workers/supervisors, will stand together and take each other’s sides, even if they know one or the other is wrong) If that does not do anything go a step higher, and continue until you get the results/answers your seeking/want. Lastly if nothing still happens, WRITE FORMAL COMPLAINT LETTERS to the CEO of the agency you deal with, or if you don't deal with an agency, but want to help out those whom do and are being bullied, contact your local MP and find out the information for your local agency, then write a formal complaint letter to that CEO. MAKE SURE YOU STATE WHAT THE COMPLAINT IS, what's happened to you, that you’re seeking justice for, the outlook/result you are seeking.

WHEN CAS APPREHENDS OUR CHILDREN, IT IS A FINANCIAL GAIN ON THEIR BEHALF, Then they expand their buildings/agency, therefore they apprehend more children.

HELP TO STOP THIS CORRUPT PROCESS OF THE SOCIETY.
Even if you are not a parent, PLEASE STAND UP for all the parents whom are too passive & scared to stand up for their family & their rights.
PLEASE HELP TO HAVE ALL THE CHILDREN IN CAS CARE RETURNED TO THE PARENTS WHOM HAVE NOT ABUSED THEIR CHILD AND WHOM HAVE BEEN BULLIED BY THIS AGENCY.

CAS USED TO BE PROUD ABOUT HELPING FAMILIES STAY TOGETHER.
They would return children back to their families, and help the parent(s) & children with knowledge about programs in their community to help with any underlying issues. They used to help families get into these programs, by sending referrals & most IMPORTANTLY they would help families to stay TOGETHER & to help build a continuously growing bond with their children & within their family unit.
NOW CAS IS TOTALLY OPPOSITE AND DOESN’T BOTHER TO HELP FAMILIES STAY CONNECTED WITH EACH OTHER.
Instead of providing knowledge for groups/meetings, they just apprehend the child (ren) & make matters worse for both the child (ren) and parent(s).
IF YOU DON’T ASK THEY WONT TELL YOU.
As well if you were open and honest about your life and any problems/issues,
THEY WERE THERE TO HELP.
NOW THEY USE ANY AND ALL INFO AGAINST YOU IN COURT.

PLEASE DON’T GET ME WRONG, NOT ALL AGENCIES ARE CORRUPT LIKE THIS, NOR IS EVERY WORKER.
But the good majority of them does act and work in a CORRUPT & POWERFUL WAY, which causes us to be scared.
I used to deal with Durham Childrens Aid Society, and I had a positive outlook and relationship with them. I moved to Windsor, Ontario and have a file open with Greater Essex Childrens Aid Society, at first it was a positive relationship. Then within 1 year it became the total opposite. I am now scared to be open and honest with them. As a parent and an upstanding citizen of my community, I should not be scared to be open and honest with my worker, NO ONE SHOULD EVER BE SCARED, that's not fair nor right and breaches our rights to be a Canadian Citizen, to have our own free speech and not to have it used against us, unless what we have said/provided has anything to do with an illegal matter.
