Eric Pickles MP: Save Hackney Businesses

This petition is to persuade the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government Eric Pickles MP from promoting damaging policy changes against commercial to residential legislation that will wipe out commercial space in very special business locations such as Shoreditch, Dalston, Hackney Wick, Haggerston and Hackney Central. This will potentially see iconic commercial buildings especially warehouse and standalone commercial buildings becoming prize opportunities for developers to convert in to luxury residential dwellings. This is a call to action from the Hackney business community to save our spaces.
