Southampton climate demonstration

Come and join us for a really important event to demonstrate we care about our environment and want clean energy, clean air to breathe, and a stable future for ourselves and our children.
It's going to be fun and entertaining! Please bring along banners, bikes, fancy dress, and anything else you think will add to the atmosphere, including as many friends as you can! Please send me a message via Avaaz if you can volunteer or have any ideas how we can make this event as inspiring and fun as possible. We'll be in Guildhall Square from 1pm.
The last protest (in August 2014) attracted 200 people with just 2 weeks' notice, over 2000 people in Southampton signed the accompanying petition, and over 675,000 people marched worldwide. Lots of people and organisations took part to make it a fantastic day. Let's make this one even bigger and better! Put the word out to anyone you think might be interested!
