A safe crossing on Bognor Road, Chichester

It is very difficult to cross Bognor Road on foot or by bike to get to the local Coop, pet food shop, pub or hairdressers. There are also mature residents living at Royal Close who find it difficult to cross the road. When Oving Road is closed to traffic this will mean that even more traffic uses Bognor Road which makes it even more difficult to cross. As the population increases with more housing going in at Bartholomews, Westhampnett, Shopwyke and Tangmere a safe crossing will be even more essential for local residents.
There is a paper petition you can sign in the Coop or the Wickham Arms. We have collected over 200 signatures over the past few months but we are keen to have an on-line petition to reach more people.
