It has been over 2years now with Shane Moyo kept in prison for no charge at all.

On 13 November 2017, an innocent man was arrested in Namibia with charges of Westlane Spar armed robbery.

Initially, he was denied visits and up to now is still denied bail. He is still kept under remand in a maximum prison.

There is no evidence of this alleged armed robbery and this case has taken so long as the judges keep postponing his trial for no rational reasons.

To date, Shane is still kept in prison, this has taken a toll on his health as he has been diagnosed of a heart problem, induced by the stress he has been put under since 13 November 2017. His family is also stressed as the legal authorities of Namibia continue going against Human Rights regarding this matter.

Shane is a law student at the University of Namibia and has lost more than 2years of his education kept in prison for no real reason- this is stressful to him as he left his home country in pursuit of education.

His health continues to deteriorate as he goes through this unfair treatment of being in prison for no reason and of course worrying about his health and future which have been jeopardized
