A demand for under-grounding of high voltage power lines in Ireland.

Eirgrid, a state owned company responsible for the Irish national grid system are planning to erect hundreds or possibly thousands of pylons carrying high voltage power lines across the unique natural beauty of Ireland. Little or no consideration is shown towards peoples health, well-being, property and land devaluation, wildlife, archaeological sites and negative impact on tourism, businesses etc. All over Ireland there are numerous protests from the communities affected and we believe Eirgrid's consultation process is flawed and needs investigation.
