Why this is important

Update 08.07.2016

In view of the decision taken by the president of the Junta de Castilla y Leon, D. Vicente Herrera Campo, to prohibit the lanceamiento and death of the bull in the Torneo del Toro de la Vega, Mayor of Tordesillas decides not to hold the tournament in 2016 and replaced by another event to be determined. I close this petition with 325,900 signatures and with the bittersweet taste of half a victory. Grateful to all who have followed signing after 218,000 signatures already handed in Valladolid in 2013, and that somehow had remained in a corner awareness president of Castilla y Leon. A hug. Pepi Vegas. Plastic artist. Antitaurina.

Update 07/28/2015

After requesting two months before an interview with the recipient of the Petition, president of the Castilla and Leon, and be denied once again, transfer the administration of this request and all its management and delivery of signatures in your name (there are currently 322 120 signatures) to Marta Esteban Miñano, president of the Platform Torture is not Culture. Marta luck, mate! Pepi Vegas. Plastic artist. Anti-bullfighting.

Update 06/28/2015

I open the petition. You can keep signing. We will be giving details. Pepi Vegas. Plastic artist. Anti-bullfighting.

Update 16/09/2014

For me it's over. Close the petition with spears stuck in my heart. Thanks to the signers that you have left the skin in the effort. There are many paths, comrades!
Pepi Vegas. Plastic artist. Anti-bullfighting. _____________________________________________
On the morning of September, while a bull is chased in the Vega de Tordesillas by a troop of men on horseback and on foot carrying lances ten feet, is speared during its route until it falls dying and is topped on the ground, cutting off live testes and tail and sometimes being sticking with a screwdriver; hundreds of thousands of people in Spain and the world, report feeling states of anxiety, frustration, sadness, anger, anxiety, major power loss and even guilt. Moral damage. The traditions are harmful and cruel to people or animals should be abolished and replaced by the true culture, according to a civilized and developed society. You can not impose the fun of a few against the suffering of many. Neither death of animals beyond ethical rule of behavior towards an animal. Or admit as valid regulations tailored to such vile and bloody acts. There are traditions in Spain that are curses, such as the Torneo del Toro de la Vega. Therefore we call for the abolition of this cultural aberration that runs every year in the name of tradition. A Spanish citizen. Pepi Vegas Plastic Artist. Anti bullfighting.
