The Western Australian government is all set to implement a shark cull. The plan is to bait more than 70 hooks and kill any shark that is longer than three meters (9 feet). This ill-devised plan was a response to the fatal attack on a surfer that was the seventh in three years. Thousands of Australians have been protesting the cull, though the government is set to proceed with installing the hooks on Friday.
Surely if we can get enough voices together, we can stop this monstrous act. There are alternative plans out there. Have a look at this link and let's see if we can save the sharks: http://bit.ly/19XLTRF
