Firstly, there is no such thing as humane trapping. Secondly, the fur looks better on the animal and not as trim on an expensive jacket.

Fur trapping and the use of wild animals for fashion with the simpering justification that the fur is harvested in accordance with humane standards and practices is simply not supported by the evidence. Leg-hold traps, snares and hunting of wild animals for their fur is at best an anachronism and one that we should leave behind us where it belongs, relegated to history, albeit a dark and bloody one. There are alternatives and being 'cool' shouldn't come at the cost of the lives of wild animals.
