Caroline Kennedy, US Ambassador to Japan: Pressure the Japanese government to stop faith-breaking kidnappings

OVER 4,300 KIDNAPPINGS AND COUNTING. For 40 Years there have been kidnappings, beatings, rapes, starvation and suicides occurring in Japan without a single criminal prosecution. Even in Mr.Toru Goto's case (pictured above) nearly starved to death and held for over 12 years!

Brazen violent kidnappings take place in plain sight at universities, parking lots, homes, and churches. When the police discover captives begging for help they do nothing. Some are kidnapped multiple times; most suffer for years afterward with PTSD and family estrangement.

Japanese police & prosecutors refuse to investigate cases in which adult members of minority faiths have been kidnapped on the grounds that it is a “family matter.” The same is true with the last resort; civil cases. Shamefully Japanese families use various Christian pastors to aid and advise in this. Forced conversion is attempted. Often large fees are charged for these illegal services. Please bring this practice into the light to stop it.
