Led by a team of professionals with extensive experience in working in schools, vocational education, psychology and complementary healthcare, the ‘Teachers are Gold’ project brings attention to the amazing contribution teachers make to the community.

Due to the ever-increasing rise in the demands and complexities of their role, teachers are facing a rising trend of stress, overwhelm, anxiety and other ill-health conditions.

Teachers are Gold aims to reverse this trend by supporting teachers to appreciate the role they play in guiding and developing our future generations and encouraging teachers to:

• Acknowledge and appreciate the impact they have on the lives of children and young people

• Build networks of support with colleagues

• Explore simple and practical tools to look after their inner and outer well-being

• Encourage members of the community to appreciate and support the integral role teachers play in our society.

We appreciate that teachers are 'Gold' and support the valuable role of teachers, and the aims, outcomes and integrity of the Teachers are Gold project.
