Dear President Băsescu of Romania,

Despite the appeal of the Animal Welfare inter-group 6/09/2013 and the European Parliament Delegation to investigate claims of mis-handling and non-compliance of European welfare strategies in dealing with the Romanian stray dog population, (14/03/2014) we have evidence (see link below) of a large scale, and brutal seizure of dogs in Bucharest 6th District today, 21st March 2014. We appeal to you direct to call a halt to this seizure, mass slaughter and cruelty now.
