European Commissioner Dimitris Avramopoulos: Stop the discrimination of the Roma citizens in the European Union!

We call on European Commissioner Dimitris Avramopoulo and his colleagues to put pressure on the leaders of the European Union to stop the on-going discrimination against Roma citizens in the EU!

It is a direct consequence of the discrimination citizens of the European Union face in their homelands that they feel compelled to travel to other countries to secure their income by begging. Every country that is part of the European Community should treat all citizens equally regardless of their origin.

We expect that all of Europe's leaders meet their obligations as EU member states. Therefore, we want the leaders concerned to actively launch an improvement of living conditions for EU's Roma citizens.
