After many appeals from the visually impaired community and years of vain endless waiting, while not having access to the resource and development privileges of Google and its collaborators, a screen reader developer for the blind has fully proven in practice and without any question that it is possible for the visually impaired that can use multi-touch braille keyboards directly on the phone screen, and without having to disable/enable the screen reader on a rootless device on Android.
Faced with this, the blind community from all over the world come together to again require Google urgently to deploy native support for braille keyboards with multi-touch typing directly on the device screen, which is functional and compatible with any Android screen reader , mainly in relation to Talkback, which is developed by Google itself.
It is important to note that Brailleback is not a braille keyboard for multi-touch typing directly on the screen of the device, as some people supposed, but only an Android driver for braille displays, which forces the user to spend hundreds of dollars for their acquisition, and , in addition, still have to carry with it, another extra accessory, absolutely incompatible with the practicality and portability of a mobile phone.
Please sign this petition, share with all your friends, and collaborate with us! In favor of support for Braille keyboards with multi-touch typing directly on the Android device screen for any screen reader, especially for Talkback!
