WE DEMAND THAT THE IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature) URGENTLY CHANGES THE STATUS OF THE SOUTHERN WHITE RHINO (CERATOTHERIUM SIMUM SIMUM) FROM “NEAR THREATENED” TO “ENDANGERED” IN LINE WITH WHAT THE UNITED STATES HAS DONE RECENTLY; AND WE DEMAND THAT THE IUCN SPEARHEADS THE DRIVE TO GET THE WHITE RHINO POPULATIONS OF SOUTH AFRICA AND SWAZILAND BACK ON CITES APPENDIX I.
