John Donahoe, president and CEO of e-Bay Inc, we call on you so we can stop the trading of ivory on e-Bay.
This petition about the ivory trade on e-bay is a little closer to our homes are maybe i should say its in our homes !! E-bay is a worldwide on-line auction website that supports the trade of ivory. This trading support makes it more easy for the ivory business and traders to sell there ivory goods/jewels around the world.
At the moment many good people are signing a lot of petitions also they are giving away many donations to help protecting the wildlife around the world. This is a good cause but i think we also need the big company's to support the causes instead of fighting against us every time, again and again. There are some big oil and gmo food companies that would love to see the elephants disappear. At the moment these big companies are investing loads of money for there future and in that future they don`t want a elephant on there gasplant are a elephant in there endless fields with gmo crops.
Now we have e-bay who doesn't really care about our nature and wildlife. The trading and the money that e-bay makes with the auctions and advertisement is for these people far more important than all these dead Elephants. The strategy that e-bay is following with there worldwide ivory auction website makes it to easy for the ivory business selling there ivory goods around the world.
How can it
be possible that a website like e-bay can trade ivory so easy all around
the world ?
It is so simple to delete the ivory trade from there website, they
only need to select some paragraphs and push the delete button.
When they do that they will send out a big signal to the rest of the world If e-bay doesn't stop the trading of the ivory why should the rest of the world stop with it.
My opinion is that a company like e-bay should be an example for the rest of the world. E-bay became a big company because the people supported them and helped them to grow big. Now e-bay should support the causes where we humans (with the hard on the right place) care about, causes like nature/wildlife/child labor...
