Louisiana State Legislature
A bill proposed by Rep. Thomas Carmody, R-Shreveport, would make the King James version of the Bible Louisiana's official state book. The proposal is offensive to non-believers and people of other faiths, and is also a clear violation of the separation of church and state. The bill has already been approved in committee, and is now set to be debated on in the Louisiana state house.

Sign the petition to reject Rep. Carmody's proposal, and tell the Louisiana State Legislature that this bill should not become law!
