Hung upside down on ceiling fan at 9. Beaten to death at 10. Raped and strangled at 16. Help stop this nightmare before even one more child is tortured -- join the call to ban child labour in Pakistan.

These atrocities all happened in the last month to children working as domestic labourers. No nine year old should be washing another family’s floors instead of going to school. No child of ten should be working behind closed doors where terrible abuses go unnoticed. It is time to protect these kids who should not be doing dirty, dangerous jobs.

Children working as domestic labourers are subject to all kinds of abuse. They can be beaten, raped and even killed as has been the case with 24 children who have fallen to death at the hands of their employers since January 2010. The beginning of 2014 has already seen the brutal deaths of three child domestic workers in Lahore at the hands of their employers.

It’s time for Pakistan to back its action plan and get serious about protecting the thousands of child domestic labourers and also stand up for every child who is a victim of child labour. Sign now and share with everyone to end the atrocities.
