THANK YOU ALL WHO SIGNED THIS PETITION. WE HAVE FORWARDED THIS TO PRESIDENT OF SRI LANKA.
Update - posted the petition to President on 04/08/2018.
Shall inform if President acknowledges receipt.

UP TO NOW the President has not acknowledged receipt of the petition - 14 Aug 2018.

Mr. President,
We the undersigned, locals and foreigners are very much concerned over this proposed project which will END WHITE WATER RAFTING IN SRI LANKA!!!! AND loss of livelihood for locals through tourism, Environmental impact on flora and fauna, loss of ground water, current damage caused to houses through underground blasting, environmental aesthetic loss and environmental terrorism by corrupt officials.
Please use your good office to halt this project and future mini hydro projects which will only bring a meagre benefit energywise and a great damage to the environment.
Even Sinharaajer forest has not been spared and Andaradeniya water fall. These environemental terrorrists should be brought to book and incacerated as done with drug traffickers.
An important report is attached which substantiate our argument at https://www.pdf.investintech.com/preview/6d70eb5e-9152-11e8-b59b-0cc47a792c0a/index.html
