Put road signs at every intersection: "Bike path! Drivers look around!!!" for drivers to look for bicycles to their right on the bike path
Why is this important:
Let's save lives, avoid damages!!!
Drivers have to look for bicycles to their right on the bike path even if the sign for the highway says "One way". The bike path is two way! Drivers have to not hit bike riders! Drivers have to look around and not text or make phone calls.
A car hit me while I was riding on my bicycle on 6/4 at mm100.283, on the temporary bike route of the Overseas Hwy., in Key Largo, FL. The emergency room doctor said I would need days to weeks to heal the strain. The muscle will be weaker for ever because of the internal scar and I will feel pain always in the future when the weather gets colder. I get headaches, dizziness, and sick only by thinking about it! I want to sue the Depart. of Transp. to donate 1-2 bill. doll. for proper sign placement, for periodic audit and for periodic public education! Can you represent me and how do you charge? Or can you recommend another attorney?
I was going South, and Mr. Sherrif told me he did not look to the right before he turned right, to the North, because all the cars were coming from the left and he forgot about the bike route! There is no sign there to warn drivers of bikes/walkers coming from the right! Moreover, Mr. Sherrif should not be allowed to drive a car if he is handicapped and forgets! Or is he a paid killer who takes advantage of the lack of signs?
