Stop the exploitation of whales at SeaWorld!

SeaWorld is a United States chain of marine mammal parks, oceanariums, and animal theme parks owned by SeaWorld Entertainment. Nowadays they count with 29 killer whales, bred and kept in captivity for entertainment shows. 21 of these whales were sired by Tilikum, a killer whale that was caught in the wild, taken from its mother at the age of two and later sold to SeaWorld.
The company claims that the animals are in good conditions and deny that any of them suffer from stress or agressivity; that is contradictory to the fact that killer whales in the wild can live up to 90 years, while in captivity their avarage life span is of 20 years. A physical difference between wild orcas and the ones in captivity are their fins, while in the wild their fins stay straight, in captivity the fin bends due to the lack of depth in water. These animals have an incredibly high intelligence as well as surprisingly developed emotions, that's why we should ask ourselves: won't keeping this animals in reduced spaces negatively affect them not only physically but also emotionally? It has to be considered that orcas are 23 to 32 feet (7 to 9.7 metres) big and in the wild they are capable of swimming 100 miles (160 km) in a day, something impossible to carry out in an entertainment park like SeaWorld.
These animals are suffering for the entertainment of some people and the money income of SeaWorld instead of enjoying their lives in their natural habitat; they can't be free without our help! Stop the exploitation of killer whales at SeaWorld and set them free!
