This is a massive development of disproportionate size close to Conservation Areas and a World Heritage Site (Kew Gardens) that has been approved by the Local Hounslow Council but without any improvements to the rail and traffic infrastructure and without any consideration for the local community. A 20,000 seat football stadium with all year round use for sports concerts and events. Minimal parking. 12 tower blocks of over 17 storeys high are to be built on a restricted site resulting in a population density of 3 times the government guidelines. Have we forgotten what happened in the tower blocks of the 1960's? 910 flats and 160 room hotel with absolutely no affordable housing! The transport is inadequate and the size of the structure is completely disproportionate to the surrounding areas overshadowing what is a beautiful part of London. This is the thin end of the wedge. If this goes through then surely "anything goes".
