The Garda Ombudsman: STOP GARDA ABUSE OF POWER IN PEACEFUL PROTESTS

We call on the Garda Ombudsman to stop immediately the unlawful and unnecessary use of power, arrest and force towards the people of Ireland, regarding their constitutional right to protest. We would also like to bring to attention the breach thereof of the Oath and Act of An Garda Síochána towards the people http://bit.ly/1DxSVcM. These protests have not only been peaceful but within the confines of the law. It is a matter of utmost importance to the people that any protests against Irish Water remain so.

However some of the behaviour of certain members of An Garda Síochána has been questionable and unconstitutional and we would like to make it clear in this petition that any breaches on behalf of An Garda Síochána and their Oath to protect to the people will be brought against them. Also note our recognition and proof via various media channels, videos, audio etc of the abuse of power and unconstitutional behaviour on behalf of An Garda Síochána that can and will be used if warranted

We the people have not caused harm, damage or loss to anyone of our peers but we do defend the right to peaceful protest where necessary. It is the people's wish and their human and constitutional right to do so in this and any similar matter.http://bit.ly/1FyGWO1
