To Keep the stray dogs who were removed from the Colombo Katunayake Highway safe, unharmed & relocated, after CHOGM.
Around 40 Stray dogs, that were loitering along the Colombo-Katunayake Highway, had been caught and taken away prior to the Colombo-Katunayake Highway opening and are now being kept at the Dog Pound. They have guaranteed to have them unharmed until CHOGM.
Nobody knows what will happen to them after CHOGM. The Government still haven't informed the people anything about this and we believe that things will happen the way we expected. We hope that these dogs will be safe and unharmed even after CHOGM, that is going to end on the 17th of November 2013.
