The EU referendum ballot paper has remain in the EU (subject to negotiated conditions) and leave options. I would like a third to be added, to allow UK voters who support a closer union between the UK and other EU member states than that negotiated by the Prime Minister to have their say in the referendum. The votes for the two remain options could be counted together when deciding whether the voters wish to remain a member of the EU or leave. If the remain option wins, the number of votes for each of the remain options could then be used to decide whether a further ballot was needed to decide how the UK should act as part of the EU.
