Photojournalist Ruben Espinosa thought he'd be safe in Mexico City. But after fleeing to the capital only a month ago, he was just found tortured and murdered. His name has been added to the list of nearly 100 journalists killed in Mexico in the last decade.

For years Ruben had been working to expose corruption in Veracruz, the southern State where 13 other journalists have been killed in just the last few years. Suspicions are already circling around Veracruz's thuggish Governor, and calls for the Governor to be dismissed and a full independent investigation are ringing in the streets and on the airwaves. This could be a real turning point.
