No nuclear gamble

To NRA Chairman Shunichi Tanaka :

As citizens across Japan, we oppose the NRA's plan to restart Sendai. As Those reactors are decades old, have no tsunami sea wall and we don’t believe they are or can be made safe. We call on you to note our objections in the official public comment process you have started, to publish this submission transparently and take it seriously in your final decision.

No nuclear gamble

The Nuclear Regulatory Authority just greenlit Sendai, saying it’s safe enough to open up again. If they get away with this, up to 11 other nuclear power plants could soon follow. It’s up to us to stop this and say enough is enough!

Fukushima has shown how unreliable NRA safety assessments can be, and the Sendai reactors are old -- they’ve been operating for 30 years! Realising it’s mistrusted, the NRA has invited public comments to see what people think of its Sendai decision. They’ve committed to disclose all public comments, so if enough of us say no we can get them to reconsider.

The deadline to send comments is imminent, so add your name now to stop the NRA gambling with Japan's future, then send this email widely to build our call. When enough people have signed, we'll submit it to the NRA's official consultation, and tell the media.
