We call on you not to sign the Transport Laws and Related Matters Amendment Bill, which was developed and written without proper transparency with the public. E-tolls on Gauteng's freeways are a burden to taxpayers who can't afford the tolls, but need the roads to go about their lives and get to their jobs. We urge you to kill the e-toll bill.

The SA government upgraded Gauteng's freeways and now wants to charge a toll to drive on them -- all part of a plan that was hatched mostly in secret! The law is sitting on Zuma's desk and we can kill it before it's too late.

No one told the public the new roads would lead to expensive toll collection costs, which many drivers simply can't afford. Now we know that private companies will profit from this scheme and construction executives have scored big bonuses from the deals. Yet there's not enough information about where this money will go or how it will be spent. With scandal after scandal plaguing our government, a massive national outcry could force the government to back off this eToll plan.

Civil action groups are in court to fight this highway robbery and COSATU is taking to the streets to block the plan. Let's stand with them to end the toll fiasco before it begins!
