Tahrir Square is exploding again! The Egyptian military has launched a new brutal crackdown on democracy protesters. But we can help end the bloodshed.

The military promised to oversee the transition to democracy and step down after six months. But eight months later they are stalling, blasting protesters with tear gas and torturing activists. The US and the EU have provided them with billions of dollars and weapons, but have done nothing to stop the repression. If we call on Egypt's military backers to stop the cash and guns until the attacks stop, we could help create a transition to civilian rule and an end to the crisis.

Right now, brave men and women are flooding the streets, facing down bullets and tanks to demand democracy. We can help realise their dreams of freedom.
