Say no to factory farms

To Tony Johnson, Head of Herefordshire Council & Jesse Norman, MP for South Herefordshire:

As concerned UK citizens we strongly object to the construction of the two large broiler units in the beautiful Golden Valley at Bage Court Farm in Herefordshire. This style of farming is a threat to environmental and human health and is a totally unsustainable and inhumane way of raising chickens for slaughter. The UK already has far too many of these giant factories and there are many other ways farmers can diversify their production without resorting to this terrible method. Don't give these chicken factories the green light.

Say no to factory farms

Giant chicken factories are wreaking havoc on our countryside, posing serious risks to our health and causing extreme suffering to thousands of birds that are crammed together in abysmal conditions. It’s time we fight back!

Right now, Herefordshire Council is considering a green light for two massive chicken factories in the Golden Valley -- one of the most beautiful landscapes in Britain. A decision could be made in days but we can stop these horror houses if we act fast. The council is still accepting public objections so let’s join together before it’s too late!

Sign and share this petition to the head of Herefordshire Council, Tony Johnson who could give this the green light any day now. When we get to 15,000 signatures we’ll deliver it to him with members of the local community and shine the media spotlight on him. Click now to add your voice.
