Euzélia foi assassinada pelo ex-marido na véspera do dia das mães, 2013 – na presença dos filhos – em Manaus, Amazonas, Brasil.
Euzélia, 46 anos, estava divorciada a 10 anos, mas nunca ficou livre das tentativas de controle que o ex-marido exercia sobre ela através dos anos.

POLICIA CIVIL E AUTORIDADES DA JUSTIÇA DO AMAZONAS: Solicitando que resolvam o Caso Euzélia através de uma investigação completa e uma decisão judicial na qual a lei seja aplicada em toda a sua severidade contra o assassino Juarez Evaristo da Silva e todos aqueles que foram a causa do crime ou que contribuiram para ocultar o assassinato, após o fato.
EMPRESAS AÉREAS TAM E AZUL (BRASIL): Solicitando que façam uma investigação interna sobre as atividades dos indivíduos citados no Caso Euzélia. Que investiguem esses que foram ou que são funcionários dessas empresas e a possível participação desses indivíduos em crimes. Solicitando descobrir se usaram indevidamente o equipamento, tempo e/ou a propriedade dessas empresas em atividade criminosa. Solicitando outrossim que a TAM e a AZUL implementem decisão cabível e legal, caso seja confirmado comportamento criminoso nesses indivíduos.

This list of signatures will be sent to the following institutions:
GOVERNMENT OF BRAZIL: requesting that the police and the judicial system be equipped and enabled to effectively implement the MARIA DA PENHA law.
UNITED NATIONS: requesting that this organization demand practical action from the government of Brazil to respect and protect the rights of women.
CIVILIAN POLICE AND JUSTICE DEPARTMENT OF THE AMAZON STATE: requesting a speedy resolution to the Euzélia murder case through a complete investigation and judicial decision, applying the law in its full severity against the assassin, Juarez Evaristo da Silva, and all others who were the cause of the crime or helped hide the evidence after the fact.
TAM AND AZUL (BRAZIL) AIRLINES: requesting that these companies conduct an internal investigation of the activities of the individuals named in the Euzélia Case criminal file, who were or are employees of both companies, to discover if they are involved in organized crime within those companies, using time, equipment and/or company property to benefit illegal activities.
