Petition-US President Barack Obama & 114th Congress : Stop US Election Fraud & Malfunction-Ban All US Electronic Voting Machines

Petition-US President Barack Obama & 114th Congress
****Have had these requested edits (for clarification of Petition Text) submitted to Avaaz for many weeks without response (the edits are in CAPS): "until, & IF, technology can be properly vetted & approved" -and- "HAND-COUNTED Paper Ballots".

Electronic Voting Machines have been proven time & again to be prohibitively expensive for communities to replace, unreliable (especially when old, as is the situation in much of the US) ---- and ----easy to manipulate----
- ---as can be attested to by the fact that the majority of the world has already opted out of using them and have returned to Hand-Counted Paper Ballots.
It's unclear how many voters will be using Electronic Voting Machines in '16, but one source says they're in 47 States ~ please check this yourself and try to discern. One older source says 30%, a newer one says 80%. But what is clear is that even at the lowest end, for certain, results from these machines have the capacity to skew results both from fraud & malfunction and are a clear & present danger to Us.
In fact, in State after State when comparing Exit Polls to actual Vote Counts, ONLY where machines exist, do we see major differences ( though not everywhere machines exist). According to experts, this is virtually, statistically impossible and points directly to fraud and/or malfunction.
As well, evidence is clear that where investigation has been sought, access to critical data, IF/when present in the first place, is being denied. Some machines even have a type of battery that, if it dies during the election process, all the data is simply lost & irretrievable. Counties are buying parts on ebay trying to scrap together old machines.... how much access does all this give to fraud & malfunction both? Enough. And enough is enough with this insecure, expensive, unsustainable, undemocratic state of being. It simply doesn't have to be.
Simply put and easily shown, there is an overwhelming amount of compelling evidence that this US Ban on EVM's should be declared a National & Global State of Emergency ( for the massive influence of the USA throughout the World ) & dealt with accordingly.

We envision a US WORLD Coalition forming in earnest by early 2016 (Pre-Primary) that will attain the leverage to begin the process of Banning All US Electronic Voting Machines, to secure US Election Integrity ---- this is very possible in the cyber world of today and with the energy Bernie is garnering, if the right people say the word-so very key.
We seek a Federal Mandate to end insecure, un-vetted voting systems in their tracks with a return to the tried & true hand-counted paper ballot until, & if, through proper vetting, technology is approved.
We envision this being initiated by 2 key groups .... the Avaaz Global Community & Bernie Sanders Supporters.
In achieving great numbers & leverage in a short period of time, Americans will become further United and more & more will begin to see the value in Bernie's message ---that when we gather together in large enough numbers, "we never lose".
We feel it is important that we gather our numbers within the US, in a realized manner (down, post & sure) ~while we're more sure we can~, while energies in the US are high & optimistic for it. Before the conversation turns more from possibility to the ‘same ol’ tired(!) lesser of 2’ topics and where fear & anger, not optimism, take more of a drivers seat.
****Because some will be bothered by this partisanship herein, they must understand, that without Bernie, as a driving force through his endorsement, all of this will more than likely not gain the MASSIVE leverage it will require ...so, the discussion portion of this petition (what you're reading right now), must include Bernie -bc his teams & his endorsement will be needed to make it a reality.
If we do this now, we feel there is much less chance that fraud or malfunction can change the outcomes of our Votes, even if little can be physically changed in voting systems by the nearing US Primary Elections, though we hope some reform can take place. ...
. ...because we will have attained for Bernie an even greater margin of support (a larger landslide) which can overcome what can't be repaired in time.
When numbers start to get big, we can say to undecided & establishment voters, “we’re just getting warmed up, practicing up! Join Us so we are assured more opportunity to do this...Vote Bernie. This is where your community is that is gathering to make sure that everyone's vote counts and to make sure that everybody has a decent chance to thrive.”
When people begin to more clearly see the rapid, systemic change we can indeed achieve, when we join forces on pointed & specific legislation and they can see the changes coming, initiated by Bernie's teams and gaining great support from the Global Community as well.... ..... and they don't want to see them stop coming.... we will gain Votes for Bernie.
. ....AND even where people decide not to vote for Bernie, they can be more assured that their votes will be counted correctly----we can all be more assured that the people's will is being done.
