Norfolk County Council are proposing to outsource existing Adult Education Service provision to local colleges. There appears to be no business justification for this decision.

Adult Education already supports 16,000 learners through a vast range of courses many run in partnership with local training providers. The service achieved an 'Outstanding' inspection report from Ofsted in 2011.

No public or learner consultations have taken place regarding these proposals.
