Do Not Let BP Destroy OUR Earth!

Bernard Looney, CEO of BP
We request that the current CEO of BP, Bernard Looney, release public information about their intents to cut emissions to zero. In February 2020, Looney made this promise but with no details whatsoever (B. Plumer). Over a year later, no update has been made. We request that BP becomes a proactive corporation: release more information about cutting to zero emissions and move towards environmentally-friendly operational activities. There is a big spotlight upon BP, it is not right to ignore these impending problems as nothing happened.
We suggest that BP cuts down on its carbon emissions and develop operational alternatives that would not continue to destroy our Earth. BP also needs to take additional responsibility for the consequences of their actions and release public information regarding their efforts to be more environmentally-friendly, just like they promised.
This is not the corporation’s problem. This is everyone’s problem. Everyone on Earth will be affected by climate change one way or another. We are not too small to change the effects of climate change. We need to take action now or else we will continue to see rising sea levels, extreme natural disasters, and be forced to live in standards no one deems satisfactory. Let us all prevent this from happening by coming together and pushing the accountability and responsibility that BP chooses to ignore. If we work together and make BP accountable and responsible, we will get to live our lives happily and freely. We are already going through the COVID-19 pandemic, let’s not add global warming and climate change on top.
Live the life you want for yourself, your family, and others. This is our one and only Earth. We need to help protect it before we cause any more destruction. All it takes is progress and responsibility!
