We already have 112 signatures on paper.

The people in the Coldhams Lane area are badly served by buses: the 114 runs 4 times a day, Monday to Saturday, between the City Centre and Addenbrookes, between 9.45am and 2.10pm. The 19 runs once a day, Monday to Friday, just after 10am on the way into town, and 12.25 on the way back.

Given that Coldhams Lane is a preferred route to the Beehive Centre, Cambridge Retail Park and into town, more buses could reduce traffic, which in turn would support the carbon reduction sought by the City Council – more so if the buses came from surrounding villages”. We call on Cambridgeshire County Council, Greater Cambridge Partnership and the Mayor of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to provide a more frequent bus service on Coldhams Lane to serve the local community and cut down on congestion along this road.
Thank you,

Paula Downes
