CEO of CoreCivic, Damon T. Hininger
Society turns a blind eye when it comes to prisoner mistreatment as they believe all prisoners deserve this quality of life as a consequence; there’s discrimination in terms of social hierarchy as people look-down at those locked up in prison.
  • The number of incarcerated people could go over 639 per 100,000 people according to the statistics reported by (WPB),(ICPR), and (Radu, n.p.).
  • African Americans are to be five times more the rate of White Americans in state and federal prisons (Jones, n.p.).
The CEO of CoreCivic, Damon T. Hininger, needs to establish a better wage system that could encourage educational desire among the inmates, as well as creating a more accessible healthcare system that will support the inmates physically, mentally, and spiritually during the incarceration period, one that will minimize unnecessary deaths.

CoreCivic: big decision-maker in the life of the inmates, the company claims to be responsible for many reform programs and living condition within the prison; however, the finding shows that CoreCivic has purposely constructed horrible systems where there are many incidents of correctional officers ignoring the need for help of the inmates.

Furthermore, quality of food should be fit for consumption and provide nutrition to the inmates, this need to be done between CoreCivic and Aramark, a food vendor for CoreCivic, in a professional and determinant action, and the living condition of the inmates need to be improved, where they actually feel safe from physical and mental illness, such as dirtiness and harassment.
