Gap, Forever 21, Topshop, Levi's, Kendall & Kylie, Primark, Walmart, Urban Outfitters
Over $1 billion USD is owed to garments workers in Bangladesh for orders that were cancelled after they had already been made or delivered due to the pandemic. This has resulted in millions of workers with no access to healthcare or pay during a time of crisis. We need to act now to hold these brands accountable to #PayUp the garments workers who already live on a minimum wage. This includes the following brands: Topshop, Bestseller, Fashionnova, Forever 21, GAP, JCPenney, Kohl's, mothercare, Peacocks, Primark, Ross, Sears, Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Free The People, Walmart, Levi's as of now. It also includes celebrities such as Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Cardi B. and P. Diddy.
What else can you do besides signing the petition?
  • Use the hashtag #PayUp
  • Comment on their social media posts demanding them to pay up  (Some of them has comments turned off for Bangladesh, India and other regions to avoid backlash, turn on VPN to comment on those)
  • Not give them your money. (Don't buy from them until they promise to pay. Fashionnova is hosting a 40% sale. If they can afford a sale, they can pay up their dues too)
  • Hold the influencers promoting them accountable too.
