Respected Principal Sir and Management, NMS- Bahrain,

We, the parents of the NMS community, are putting forward this petition, after hearing the shocking and heartbreaking news, via the weekly mail (dated 4th March, 2021), informing us regarding the discontinuation of the DPS Aegis with our school. Hence through this petition we seek a fair discussion and a just approval on a few requests that have been put forward by the majority of the parents at our school.

As you can imagine, this is a BIG change for us parents, as we were all under the impression that our School is functioning effectively under the DPS fraternity. We felt secured for our children, who, under this esteemed DPS umbrella, have
1- a superior level of education,
2- an edge above other CBSE schools, and
3- a secured future transition with the added backing of the DPS logo to our education certificate.

It is important to understand, that we as parents, have sacrificed alot as a family, to firstly choose this level associated with the DPS Aegis and have gone above and beyond in financially providing for this added security, in comparison to other CBSE school on the Island.

We hence would like to kindly request the following
1) a fair chance to meet and discuss with you, either in person, with 15 to 20 parents (ensuring all COVID 19 government rules and regulations are adhered by) or a virtual meeting via zoom with a few parent representatives.
2) we request transparency and proof regarding previous DPS Aegis and current discontinuation. When was this big step taken?
3) What steps are being taken to ensure the same security experienced with the DPS Aegis or are there plans to take up another Aegis such as DPS?
4) If no such added Aegis is planned, a substantial reduction in Fees, of at least a 30 % reduction , is considered fair and justified.

We, the undersigned, look forward to your earliest reply and hope to further discuss the above points at our meeting (point number 1) as soon as possible.

Best Regards,
Parents ( KG1 to Grade XII)
